Widespread Panic Show Poster
Widespread Panic’s devoted fanbase and legendary live performances have cemented the band as a powerhouse in the jam scene. Known for their improvisational sets and never-the-same-twice concerts, each show is a unique experience.
The band has always shared a special connection with Milwaukee’s historic Riverside Theater. Every year, they return for three sold-out nights of high-energy jams, capped off with a festive block party on the nearby bridge.
Just steps from the venue, fans can discover a lesser-known local treasure: bronze statues of Gertie the Duck and her ducklings. In the spring of 1945, Gertie, a mallard hen, made her nest on a bridge piling along Wisconsin Avenue. Her quiet determination to hatch her eggs during wartime hardship became a citywide symbol of hope, documented by both the Milwaukee Journal and the Milwaukee Sentinel.
